Our 2 bell tents provide you with the luxury feeling of sleeping in a real bed, with soft blankets, but with the feel of the woodlands the other side of the canvas door.

Throughout the summer we offer Woodland Workshops for families, introducing woodland craft, use of tools, den building, open fire cooking and food hygiene, aswell as learning about the flora and fauna of the woodland.

Share your experiences
Meet others and share the memories into the night round the communal firepit. With solar powered festoon lighting and a large fire pit, everyone can share the experiences of Springfield Woods. All you need are the marshmallows!
Immerse yourself in nature
In such a natural environment you are literally immersed in nature from the moment you wake up, until your head hits the pillow at the end of the day, listening to the hoots of the owls.. Experience the sunrise across the bank of wildflowers, or the sunset through the trees. Apologise to the passing hedgehog as you take a trip to the toilet, or catch a glimpse of the kingfisher as it darts past whilst you gaze at the stream drinking your morning tea. Be very much a part of it all.

Each of our pitches are larger than the average pitch, at 13 metres. With the stream to one side (please note there is a steep bank down to the water) and the woods to the other side, you can create a wonderful space using gazebos or windbreaks and seating areas. As each pitch has a path leading directly into the woodland there is no reas

As each pitch has a path leading directly into the woodland there is no reason for anyone to ever walk past your tent, giving you a very private little section of the woods all to yourself.

A beautiful large room for a whole family if needed, with bench, hooks, mirror and a private shower cubicle with curtains. The gas powered shower provides hot water within minutes and the clear roof and sensor lighting means you can shower at any time of the day or night under the trees.

Small fire pits are allowed and available for next to your tent, but sometimes the joy of a larger fire for everyone to sit round and meeting new people is what camping is all about. As we only have a few pitches we allow you to talk between yourselves to arrange the lighting of the fire, however we can help with large bundles of wood for

With the festoon of lights circling the firepit it can create a magical evening.

Whether it is a day of shopping, a lunch out or even just a trip to Tesco it is always worth the short walk through Beverley's pedestrian shopping streets to visit Beverley Minster. There is also the famous Saturday market, where you can stock up on your fresh produce, as well as some treats for your stay.
